Creating a blog can be simple and effective when done correctly. Follow these easy steps to create a blog from Blogpost.com, optimize your content, and set it up with Google Analytics for tracking.

Step 1: Create a Blog from Blogpost.com

  1. Go to www.blogger.com.

  2. Sign in using your Google account.

  3. Click on "Create New Blog".

  4. Enter a blog title and choose a unique blog address (URL).

  5. Choose a theme and click Create Blog.

Step 2: Add New Profile

  1. On the Blogger dashboard, go to Settings > User Profile.

  2. Fill in your display name, bio, and photo.

  3. Click Save Profile.

Step 3: Create a New Post

  1. Click "New Post".

  2. Add a compelling Title for your blog post.

  3. Write your content under 350 words (for fast reading and SEO).

Step 4: Optimize for SEO

  • Title with Alt Text: When adding an image, click it and select "Properties", then fill in the Alt Text describing the image.

  • Add Keywords in Labels: On the right sidebar, under Labels, enter relevant keywords (e.g., blogging, SEO, travel, etc.).

  • Meta Title & Meta Description: Go to Settings > Search Preferences, under Meta Tags, enable and enter a relevant Meta Title and Meta Description to help with search engine ranking.

Step 5: Add the Right Image from Canva

  1. Go to www.canva.com, create a relevant image (1024x576 recommended).

  2. Download the image and upload it to your blog post.

  3. Don’t forget to add Alt Text when uploading.

Step 6: Interlinking

  • Copy the URL of a previous blog post.

  • Paste it as a hyperlink into your new blog post’s related content section to improve SEO.

Step 7: Add Google Analytics Code

  1. Visit analytics.google.com.

  2. Click the Admin (gear icon).

  3. Under Property, select your Country, Timezone, and Business Details.

  4. Choose your Industry Category and Business Objectives, then click Create.

  5. Under Web, enter your blog’s URL and a Stream Name.

  6. Click Create & Continue, then copy the tracking code to your blog's HTML.

You’re now ready to blog with proper SEO and analytics!
